Wojciech Szczesny Urged to Consider Life Choices

Caught Smoking for a Third Time This Year

The Poland and on-loan Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is once again being asked by officials, this time at his current club Roma, to consider his habits off the pitch after being caught smoking after playing a Champions League game against Barcelona.

The professional has since been dropped as a result, which is no surprise, given the known health risks that are associated with smoking tobacco cigarettes, and the role the goalkeeper has as far as being a role model is being questioned.

Should the reports ring true, it will be the third time in just 12 months that Szczesny has been caught smoking.

When he was at Arsenal he was given a £20,000 fine for smoking in the showers after a 2-0 away defeat to Southampton on New Year’s Day.

He was also pictured smoking again in June while spending time with friends at a pub in Warsaw.

If we could be so humble as to offer our advice, we’d suggest the Mr Szczesny consider the healthier option of e-cigs to replace his habit, for both his health and his footballing career!
