These coils are also compatible with the Innokin Coolfire Z60 and Z80 kits, the Zenith 2 tank and the Innokin Go. pod vape kit. Please note that these coils were originally Innokin Zenith Coils but have now been renamed ‘Z-Coils’.
The 1.2 ohm and 1.6 ohm coils are the best option for new vapers and will produce a more restricted, mouth to lung (MTL) or ‘classic’ style vape. The 0.6 and 0.8 ohm coils offer a great introduction to sub ohm vaping, producing a subtle direct to lung (DTL) vape.
These variations of the Innokin Z-Coils will work well with 50/50 PGVG blend e-liquids. Find out more about PG & VG here.

Instructions
When To Change Your Zenith Coil
Innokin Zenith coils tend to last between 1-2 weeks, though this can vary depending on your e liquid and how frequently you vape. When it’s time to change your coil, you will notice a deterioration in the flavour. If your vape tastes burnt, it’s definitely time to change the coil!
Please ensure that you prime each new coil before use. This will avoid burning the coils which will produce a burnt taste and render them unusable. Please visit our guide to priming a coil for more information.
Choose from 0.6 ohm, 0.8 ohm resistance 1.2 ohm or 1.6 ohm resistance. Please see below for recommended power settings and vaping styles for each version.
DTL:
- 0.6 ohm (9 – 13W power range)
- 0.8 ohm (14 – 17W power range)
MTL:
- 1.2 ohm (10 – 14W power range)
- 1.6 ohm (10 – 14W power range)
