Vape Juice FAQs

What Ingredients Are in Vape Liquid?

OK Vape e liquid is what is known as a 50/50 vape juice. This means it is made with equal parts of the two main ingredients in vape liquids: vegetable glycerine (VG) and propylene glycol (PG). This formulation delivers a smooth flavour profile and a satisfying cloud every time. For more information on PG and VG, read our guide to e-liquid ingredients.

Our freebase e liquid is suitable for most refillable vapes, pods and coils, as well as different styles of vaping, like mouth to lung (MTL) and direct to lung (DTL). Find out how to choose the right e-liquid for your kit in our guide.

Most vapers opt to use an e cig liquid with nicotine to help make the switch from smoking to vaping. Our e-liquids are available in a range of nicotine strengths, so the following information should help if you’re not sure where to start.

18mg

18mg e liquids are suitable for new users looking to switch to vaping from smoking or those who prefer a stronger ‘throat hit’. This strength is generally best suited to ‘classic’ or ‘mouth-to-lung’ (MTL) devices and tanks.

12mg

A good strength for moderate smokers switching to vaping, or those that find 18mg too harsh but want to keep cravings at bay. 12mg e liquids are also recommended for MTL devices and tanks.

6mg

A good place to start if you are a light smoker or smoke rolling tobacco is a 6mg e liquid. This strength can be used in both MTL and DTL devices but will give a stronger hit in the latter.

3mg

This is the lowest strength in our range, producing little to no ‘throat hit’ in a classic or MTL device. A 3mg e liquid is also the most popular option for sub ohm vapes.

To open a bottle of OK Vape e liquid, twist the cap to break the seal. If you find it difficult to grasp the cap with your fingers, you can try using a pair of pliers, but be careful not to squeeze too hard so you don’t damage the cap. Once the seal is broken, continue twisting the cap until the bottle is open. Replace the cap when you’re done filling your vape and store the bottle in a cool, dark place like a cupboard.

Our e liquids have an expiration date of two and a half years from the date of manufacture. To get the most out of your e liquids, make sure the lids are kept securely sealed and stored away from light and heat.

Yes, you can take vape liquid on a plane, but there are different rules depending on whether you put your e-liquids in your carry-on bag or your hold luggage. If you decide to keep your vape supplies in your carry-on, your e-liquid bottles will need to go into a transparent, resealable bag measuring 20x20cm, and you can take no more than 1L of total liquids. There is no limit for hold luggage, so if you’re planning on taking a large amount of vape liquid with you on your travels, it’s best to put only a few bottles in your carry-on and the rest in your checked bag. Find out more about travelling with e-cigarettes in our guide.

How long a 10ml bottle of vape juice will last depends on your vaping habits. The average vaper will use about 2ml of e liquid per day, so a bottle will last around five days. If you vape more frequently or are a heavy smoker you will likely use more eliquid, or less if you’re a light vaper. You will also go through vape liquid faster if you prefer direct to lung or sub-ohm vaping because these devices reach a higher temperature to produce a bigger cloud of vapour.
