The main base ingredients in e liquids are propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerine (VG) and flavourings. PG and VG are both food-safe ingredients that make up a majority of an e liquid; almost all vape juices will contain a ratio of both ingredients.

Propylene glycol (PG) is a plant derived liquid, commonly used in the food and medical industry; it has a slightly sweet and is colourless. Like PG, vegetable Glycerine (VG) is also a colourless liquid used in the food industry. VG is thicker than VG so is used as a thickener and sweetener. VG can either be plant derived or synthetic.

E Liquids also contain various strengths of nicotine, ranging from nicotine free, up to 20mg; the highest legal nicotine content set by the EU TPD E Cigarette Regulations.

It is difficult to say how long a bottle of e liquid will last as there are many variables; however, generally speaking, we estimate that our 10ml bottles of e liquid should last around a week for a 15 a day smoker.
