Changes to Our Checkout Process
You may have received information from your card issuer regarding updates to how you verify payments you make online (otherwise known as 3D Secure V2). These updates are all about keeping you safer online and all online merchants must comply with the new regulations.
With this in mind, our checkout process will be changing slightly.
What Changes Can I Expect to See?
On The Checkout Page
When you place an order with us you will now be directed to a new page to enter your card details at the checkout. This page is hosted on our site but your card details are entered into a securely encrypted form, hosted by our payment provider Sage Pay.
When Making a Payment
You may need to provide some further identity verification after entering your card details. What you see will depend on how your issuing bank has implemented the new 3D secure rules. If you have any questions about this then we recommend contacting your bank.
As we will be updating our payment system, we regret that any card details you currently have saved on your account will be removed. You can however quickly and easily re-save your card details when you place your next order. To do this, tick the box just above the 'Proceed to Payment' button at the checkout.
You can also add or remove saved cards at any time from the 'Payment Methods' tab within your account.
When Will These Changes be Implemented?
You can expect to see these changes implemented from the 11th September 2019.
