OK Cigalike: The Best Alternative to 10 Motives Disposables

10 Motives Disposable Electronic Cigarettes are no longer available in the UK. Those looking for a similar option now need to consider rechargeable alternatives that offer the same simple, cigarette-style format.

Are 10 Motives Disposables Discontinued?

Yes, production of 10 Motives Disposable Electronic Cigarettes ceased and the range was discontinued across the UK. This left existing 10 Motives users looking for an alternative.

Since then, the sale and supply of single-use vapes has been banned across the UK, so disposable replacements are no longer available at all. Instead, disposable vape users have had to switch to a rechargeable vape.

Why Can’t I Buy 10 Motives Disposables Anymore?

The disposable vape ban came into place on 1 June 2025. Since then, businesses have not been allowed to sell or supply any single-use vapes, regardless of whether they contain nicotine. This is why 10 Motives Disposables are no longer stocked by supermarkets and other retailers.

The government introduced the ban largely due to the environmental implications of disposable vapes. They created large amounts of waste from plastic, batteries and electronic components and proved difficult to recycle. It was estimated that millions of disposable vapes were being thrown away or littered each week.

What Can I Use Instead of a 10 Motives Disposable?

Having supported adult smokers for more than a decade, OK Vape offers a rechargeable battery alternative for former 10 Motives Disposable users. The battery is compatible with both our dedicated 10 Motives Flavour Match range and original OK Vape Cigalike refills.

10 Motives Menthol and Regular Disposable Alternatives

The 10 Motives Disposable E-cig was available in two flavours: Regular Tobacco and Menthol. Former users can now choose from our 10 Motives Flavour Match range, which provides similar Tobacco and Menthol options you’ll recognise with a rechargeable Cigalike battery.

Alternative to 10 Motives Menthol Disposable

If you previously used the 10 Motives Menthol Disposable, our 10 Motives Flavour Match Menthol refills are available in 6mg, 11mg and 16mg nicotine strengths in a compatible rechargeable format.

Alternative to 10 Motives Regular Disposable

For 10 Motives Regular Disposable users, our 10 Motives Flavour Match Tobacco refills are offered in the strengths of 6mg, 11mg, 16mg and 20mg for use with a compatible rechargeable Cigalike battery.

How Does the 10 Motives Flavour Match Range Compare with a 10 Motives Disposable?

The 10 Motives Flavour Match range uses a rechargeable Cigalike battery with replaceable prefilled refills. It offers a similar size, shape and style to the old 10 Motives Disposable, with a slimline design that closely resembles a traditional cigarette. Both are inhale-activated, making them simple to use.

The main difference is that the battery can be used again. Instead of disposing of the whole device when it is empty, simply replace the prefilled refill and recharge the battery as and when needed.

For more information on setting up, charging and using your device, see our Cigalike Starter Kit instructions.
